Travelling through desert

I don't mean on the back of camel! But when travelling east there are quite few places for nice stopover (especially the places where you land at 11 p.m. and it's 35°C, DXB). Picture was taken after midnight, pretty busy place...
So every time you'll be paying your gas or petrol bills, just remember that there are guys with 7 wifes and 20 children freely spending all this money.

Getting ready

What a fun on the Heathrow!! No more stripping of terrified travellers and even my own bag got back to middle Europe with me! So much luck in one day...
Big move will happen in less than 48 hours... f.c.uk. Oh yeah, UK, keep of grass! (and emotions 2)

PS: I got east-Asian Survival kit kit kit... Thanks B! ;)

Forgot to post the pictures from summer school (together with Chapman uni students). So... here it is.

Visiting neighbours

Since I have not much to do these days, we've decided to see the city center. I thought it will be close from our place and ... it was - 40 minutes by train. Whoa, it must be good business to run trains in this country.
Because of the weather, which was just beautiful (for England), we thought that walking from one side of London to another will be just fine, from London Bridge to Hyde Park. God! It was, you should try it! (and next day you'll sleep for like 12 hours...)
So what can I say about the "capital of world finances" overcrowded not only on Saturday afternoon? Lot of places are changing dramatically, new buildings, new museums, historic atmosphere slowly fading away... but worth visiting anytime ;)
And in the end some British Skoda jokes...
