Oficially it was a study week. So we - oficially - went to the Jeju-do, an island sometimes called Korean Hawaii. I've never been to Hawaii (yet;) but the description can be pretty accurate - a volcano in the middle of sea. B-E-autiful!
We stayed there for 5 days, flying JejuAir was fun; and those days were like full of major changes. No car, no idea where we were - this happened maybe too often, trying to guess which parts can be interesting and which not, public transport, Korean high school students, high volcano with like 5 million steps up and down, fast food, love motels, Sex museum, oranges, lava stones, falling into anonymous lakes, and "things like that"...
Anyway. Jeju is definitely on Korean must-see list.

Huh, dunno what to write about... (status: 11 A.M., hangovered like... a lot, need to read some book)... l8r then.

추석 holiday

If somebody in Korea would ask you, what will you do on 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the year, the only right answer is that you will celebrate Chuseok! As perhaps the most important holiday of the year, it bears anarchy over most of the country. Cuz everybody is trying to get to his hometown - and everybody lives in Seoul, but few of them were actually born there...
I however took the opposite way, since I was invited into my friend's house, which was close to the Gimpo airport. What can I say... it was just awesome! I guess to truly explore Korean culture, you really need to visit somebody's household. I kinda messed up the ceremony, but it was fun - big thanks to H.!
I came to Seoul on Wday afternoon, did a small tour around one of the coolest parts of Seoul - Jeong-dong (photos will hopefully follow soon - and they do!) and met my friend (finally with gf - good job!! .)) in the evening at Yeongdeungpo station. On Thursday afternoon was the best time to visit the airport - not because we would fly somewhere, but since Gimpo is not used as an airport too much, it's been turned into a big shopping mall. Movie was kinda funny too (and the only one in English).
And Friday... on Friday we went to the Lotte world!!! I thought I was not a rollercoaster guy - well, maybe I am. There are however still some 80 meters-free-fall reasons why I need to go back (not just because my stomach has been left there...). And need to shrink a little too, at least to 187 . Korea is a country where they discriminate tall people!!!! :-)))

So now it's Sunday and I am thinking what to do first, If any. Cuz tomorrow starts study week and I'll be studying on Jeju-do. Or at least that's the plan. And the week after that are midterms...
